I chose to create an album cover design along with an iteration for the artist Crystal Castles because I was confident in my ability to represent the feeling of their music into a physical interpretation. I incorporated themes and feelings from their music and sound such as distortion, nihilism, etherealness, and desolation. I used cyanotype photos that I created and altered the colors. I also used a pinhole camera photograph, and kept the dusty, grainy texture to give it an antique, lost feeling.
